It's been a while since I last posted but here goes... I spent six weeks in London working as a print design intern at a textile design studio. Working in Mirjam Rouden's studio in Bethnal Green - London was an inspirational experience. Tasks included designing artwork onto fabric using hand painted techniques, designing print artwork for various clients using CAD and hand drawing skills, managing digital artwork files and organising and collating fabric samples. It was an eye opener as to how a design studio is run and what is involved from design to production. Here are a few photos to show what I got up to.....
